UK basketball adds another five-star recruit

John Calipari picked up his third top-ten recruit in the class of 2013 in two weeks with the commitment of shooting guard James Young Thursday.

Young, a 6-foot-6 guard from Rochester Hills, Mich., is ranked No. 8 in the class by Rivals.com. He announced his commitment on ESPNU.

Young joins twin guards Aaron and Andrew Harrison, the No. 3 and No. 4 players in the class, as UK commitments in the last two weeks. Bullitt East High School forward Derek Willis had previously committed to UK.

Young picked Kentucky over Kansas, Michigan State and Syracuse.
