Winchester’s Lauren Mink given golden ticket, ‘second chance’ on ‘American Idol’

Winchester native Lauren Mink has been given an American Idol “golden ticket” to Hollywood for the second time.
 

Idol fans may remember Mink from last season of the show, during which she was cut from the competition during “Hollywood Week.”
 

Viewers only got a glimpse of Mink on the Wednesday night episode, but a full link interview, during which Mink discusses wanting a “second chance” on the show, can be found here.
