Support the Arts: Online giving challenge includes 17 Central Kentucky arts groups

More than 15 percent of the Central Kentucky nonprofits participating in the 2013 GoodGiving Guide Challenge are arts organizations as varied as ballet and historic theatre, proving that the arts are alive and well in the Bluegrass.
 
The third annual online giving campaign kicked off today, Nov. 1, with a list of 108 organizations seeking community involvement and financial help. See the KyForward story about the campaign GoodGiving Guide Challenge kicks off with a goal of raising $1 million for local nonprofits.
 
The challenge runs from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, and had already reached more than 10 percent of its goal in the first 90 minutes.
