Agriculture Commissioner James Comer to appear on ‘Kentucky Proud Kitchen’ show

In an effort to promote Kentucky-grown and Kentucky-made products this Christmas season, Agriculture Commissioner James Comer and his wife, T.J., will appear on the television show “Kentucky Proud Kitchen.” The show will air Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on WDKY-TV (Fox 56). The Comers will share their favorite Christmas cookie recipe using Kentucky Proud ingredients.

“Cherished Christmas memories revolve around food, whether it is a traditional family meal or a favorite recipe,” Commissioner Comer said. “I hope this program will inspire you to start your own Kentucky Proud tradition in your family kitchen.”

“Kentucky Proud Kitchen” is hosted by award-winning chef Brigitte Nguyen and features fast, easy recipes using farm-fresh Kentucky Proud products. The program also will air on WLKY-TV in Louisville, WBKO-TV in Bowling Green, and in other Kentucky television markets. Check your local listings to find a station and airtime in your area.
