Bark in the Park Night, Christian rock concert
highlight Legends third homestand of 2012

The Lexington Legends return to Whitaker Bank Ballpark for a brief four-game homestand beginning Thursday. While the team will be back on the road Monday, there is plenty of action planned for the weekend.

 

The homestand is highlighted with the first IncrediPet Bark in the Park Night of the season where fans can bring their dog to the game and the first Faith & Family Night of the season with Christian Rock Band ‘The Afters’ performing a post game concert on the plaza. BirdZerk and another Ford Fireworks are also in this action-packed home stand as the Legends take on the Hagerstown Suns.

 

The Legends begin their third home stand of the season on Thursday, May 10 at 7:05 p.m. with the first IncrediPet Bark in the Park Night of the season. It is also another Urban Active Thirsty Thursday where fans can purchase $1 Beer & Pepsi until the 7th inning.

 

On Friday, May 11 at 7:05 p.m., the Legends will feature their first Faith & Family Night of the season presented by Asbury University. The night will feature a post game concert by Christian rock band The Afters who will perform on the Legends plaza following the game.

 

Saturday night’s game will feature Minor League Baseball fan favorite Birdzerk! entertaining the crowd with his crazy antics throughout the game! It is also Nurses Night where the Legends will honor all of those that help us in the healthcare industry. The 7:05 p.m. game will be capped off with another Ford Firework Show presented by the Central Kentucky Ford Dealers.

 

The home stand wraps up Sunday, May 13 with another Jif Kids Club Sunday where all kids 12 and younger will have the chance to run the bases following the Legends 1:35 p.m. game against the Suns. The Little Legends Kids Club is open to all kids 12 & under and all members receive numerous prizes, benefits and a FREE ticket to each Legends Sunday Jif Kids Club games, all for only $15! Former UK pitcher Alex Meyer is also likely to start for Hagerstown in one of the weekend games.
