STRIDE’s summer fundraiser in Winchester will feature Lauren Mink of American Idol

The fifth annual STRIDE Summer Concert & Auction will be held on June 16th, 2012 at Ron & Judy Tierney’s Storage Warehouse at 4475 Rockwell Rd in Winchester and will feature Lauren Mink, of last season’s American Idol, and her band.
 

STRIDE, which stands for Supporting Therapeutic Recreation for Individuals with Disabilities Everyday, began in 2000 and serves individuals that have a learning or developmental disability and are at least 16 years of age.
 

Tickets for the fundraiser are $25 and include BBQ provided by Neely, Taylor, & Wade, Beer & Ice provided by Bypass Liquors, live music by Lauren Mink Band, and access to over 150 auction items. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at Bypass Liquors or Court Street Gifts in Winchester, or you can purchase them at the gate. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. , music begins at 7:00, and the live auction begins at 9:00. Attendees can bring their own cooler, chairs, blankets, table, etc.. Auction items are still being added daily.
