LFUCG to hold minority and women
business connection event for skilled trades

Minority and women-owned businesses that offer work in skilled trades can participate in a vendor fair this month sponsored by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.

Businesses in the following trades are invited to meet with the LFUCG Division of Facilities Management and other LFUCG divisions:  HVAC, electrical, paving, suppliers, plumbing, dry wall, painting, concrete, general construction, industrial supplies and tools, safety equipment, and custodial services and supplies.

The vendor fair will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Feb. 29, at the Fire Training Center, 1375 Old Frankfort Pike.  A special presentation about opportunities and upcoming projects will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Lunch will be available to purchase from a minority vendor.  Vendors are asked to register in advance at www.lexingtonky.gov/MWBE.
