A road work heads up for the week

Work done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
 

SPECIAL NOTES
Traffic could be congested downtown near the Fifth-Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 9, for Thursday Night Live.
 

The celebration of Mayfest Arts Fair in Gratz Park on Saturday, May 12, and Sunday, May 13, will have the following impact on traffic in downtown Lexington:
· Market Street and Mill Street will be closed between Second Street and Third Street;
· Third Street will be closed between Broadway and Upper Street; and
· Mechanic Street and New Street will be closed.
Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 13.
 

The Cherry Blossom Festival at the Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza on Saturday, May 12, will have the following impact on traffic in downtown Lexington:
· Short Street will be closed between the two courthouses; and
· One lane of Limestone Street will be closed in front of the courthouses.
Hours for the festival are 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
There will be a rolling blockage on West Maxwell Street between Pine Street and Madison Place from Wednesday,, May 9, through Thursday, May 10, for cable work.
 

The right lane of westbound Man O’ War Boulevard will be blocked between Tates Creek Centre Drive and Belleau Woods Drive from Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11, for cable work.
 

The inbound right lane of Newtown Pike will be blocked between Nandino Boulevard and Newtown Circle on Monday, May 7, and Tuesday, May 8, for cable work.
 

North Limestone will be blocked one lane at a time at East New Circle Road on Tuesday, May 8, for cable installation.
 

One lane at a time on all approaches to South Broadway will be blocked at Angliana Avenue from Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11, to install new traffic signals.
 

One lane at a time of Man O’ War Boulevard will be blocked between Richmond Road and Beaver Creek Drive through Friday, May 11, for milling and paving.
 

A rolling blockage could close the right lane of North Limestone Street between East Main Street and Barr Street through Friday, May 18, for utility work.
 

A rolling blockage could close the right lane and sidewalk of South Limestone Street between East Vine Street and East Main Street through Friday, May 18, for utility work.
 

One lane at a time of Euclid Avenue will be CLOSED at Transylvania Park through Monday, May 14, to replace a water main. Traffic will be maintained in both directions.
 

The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be blocked between Woodland Avenue and Kentucky Avenue through Friday, May 11, for utility work.
 

One lane at a time of Fortune Drive will be blocked between Winchester Road and Liberty Road through Friday, May 11, for milling and paving.
 

The The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be CLOSED between Fontaine Road and East New Circle Road through Friday, June 1, to replace utility poles.
 

The westbound lane of Rosemont Garden will be blocked between Southport Drive and Cherrybark Drive from Monday, May 7, through Monday, May 21, for utility work.
 

One lane at a time of Clays Mill Road will be closed and traffic will be diverted into travel lanes between Keithshire Way and Cromwell Way through Thursday, May 31, as part of the Clays Mill Road widening project.
 

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The west side of Pin Oak Drive will be blocked at Rosemont Garden from Monday, May 7, through Monday, May 21, for utility work.
 

A portion of the right turn lane of Cooper Drive between Sports Center Drive and University Drive will be blocked from 5-7 a.m. Monday, May 7, to unload equipment.
 

One lane at a time of Habersham Drive will be blocked at Man O’ War Boulevard on Tuesday, May 8, for cable work.
 

One lane at a time of Rosemont Garden will be blocked at Chelan Drive through Friday, May 11, for utility work.
 

One lane of Squires Road will be blocked at Brookewind Way near the reservoir from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. from Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11, for street work.
 

The northwestbound lane of Sparks Road will be CLOSED between Delaware Avenue and Lagonda Avenue through Friday, June 1, for utility work.
 

One lane at a time – both east and west – of Rosemont Garden will be closed between Elam Park and Southport Drive through Friday, May 11, for utility work.
 

One lane at a time of Morgan Avenue between Bryan Avenue and Oak Hill Drive will be blocked from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. through Thursday, May 31, for sewer work.
