SPECIAL NOTES
Traffic could be congested downtown near the Fifth-Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, for Thursday Night Live.
 

The Lexington Division of Police will be cracking down on drivers and passengers who are not wearing their seatbelts on May 21-June 3, as part of a nationwide Click it or Ticket Campaign that runs through Memorial Day weekend. Those who are not buckled up will be ticketed, Police said.
 

Lanes of the inner and outer loops of Mew Circle Road will be closed at the Parkers Mill overpass from 8 p.m. Friday, May 18, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, for bridge work.
 

The Division of Engineering issued land disturbance (grading) permits for the following addresses from May 4-17: 497 Angliana Avenue, 3104 Blackford Parkway, 2228 Pokeberry Park, 843 South Broadway, 2340 Rockminster Road, 273 Somersly Place, 2952 Blackford Parkway, 425 Oak Street, 3685 Horsemint Trail, 2433 Nicholasville Road, 156 West Tiverton Way, 151 East Vine Street and 1209 Texaco Road. Permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
North Upper Street will be CLOSED between West Sixth and West Fifth Streets except for local traffic. The closure will be in effect Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24, for construction work. A detour will be in place.
 

The right inbound lane of Nicholasville Road will be blocked at Larkin Road near the Speedway Gas Station on Monday, May 21, and Tuesday, May 22, for utility work.
 

The right outbound lane of Tates Creek Road will be blocked between Lansdowne Drive and West New Circle Road through Wednesday, May 23, for tree trimming.
 

One lane at a time of Clays Mill Road will be CLOSED between Keithshire Way and Cromwell Way from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday, May 31, as part of the Clays Mill Road widening project.
 

The outbound right lane of East Main Street will be blocked between Woodland Avenue and Kentucky Avenue through Friday, May 25, for utility work.
 

The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be CLOSED between Fontaine Road and East New Circle Road through Friday, June 1, to replace utility poles.
 

The westbound lane of Rosemont Garden will be blocked between Southport Drive and Cherrybark Drive through Monday, May 21, for utility work.
 

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
Old Ironworks Road will be CLOSED just east of its intersection with Georgetown Road through Friday, May 25, for utility work. Traffic will be detoured through a parking lot.
 

The eastbound lane of Pasadena Drive will be blocked at Harrodsburg Road to the left turn approach lane on Monday, May 21, for pavement repairs.
 

The west side of Pin Oak Drive will be blocked at Rosemont Garden from Tuesday, May 22, through Thursday, May 31, for utility work.
 

The northwestbound lane of Sparks Road will be CLOSED between Delaware Avenue and Lagonda Avenue through Friday, June 1, for utility work.
 

One lane at a time of Morgan Avenue between Bryan Avenue and Oak Hill Drive will be blocked from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. through Thursday, May 31, for sewer work.
