Sometimes working out can seem a tedious and grueling process. Missing one workout turns into missing three weeks and soon you’re facing the daunting challenge of starting all over again. We have all felt unmotivated at some point.
How can you push through those tough times? I believe working out with friends can make all the difference! I get up to run at 5 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday morning because I know I will have friends waiting for me to start.
Here are some of the benefits that working out with a friend can add to your health and wellness routine:
1. Meeting a friend at the gym or taking a walk around your neighborhood with a friend can help you get motivated or stay motivated.
2. Working out with a friend can make you push each other to go the extra mile or stay after the class to do some more stretching.
3. Attending a new class with a friend can give you more confidence to try it out or maybe try a new machine.
So, the before the next time you feel less than motivated to workout, find a friend and see what you all can accomplish together!
