Summer blood donors can save lives,
win a 2012 Toyota RAV4, $500 gas card

From May 19 through Sept. 14, all Kentucky Blood Center donors (18 and over) will not only be able to enhance the lives of Kentucky patients through their blood donations, they will also be automatically eligible to win a 2012 Toyota RAV4.
 

As extra motivation, everyone who donates May 19 through June 1 is also eligible to win a one of two $500 gas cards.
 

“Thirty-thousand people will need to walk through our doors and roll up their sleeves this summer in order to provide enough blood for the patients we serve,” said Martha Osborne, KBC’s Executive Director of Marketing & Recruitment. “We think the chance to win a 2012 Toyota RAV4 and gas for the summer is a great way to encourage donations.”
 

Each time someone registers to donate, they will be automatically entered to win the RAV4. Because of the length of the RAV4 promotion, donors can be entered in the giveaway more than once this summer.
 

In addition to the RAV4 promotion, there will be other fun giveaways throughout the summer – T-shirts, gas cards, movie passes and Walmart
cards, depending on when and where people donate.
