Mayor’s first annual Healthcare Economy Conference to focus on health care reform

The first annual Mayor’s Healthcare Economy Conference will be held June 26 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, with Greg Nunziata, senior director, the Advisory Board from Washington, D.C, as guest speaker.

The conference is timely because in June, the U.S. Supreme Court will make public its ruling on several elements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; a ruling that will have repercussions on public policy.

Nunziata will speak on “Healthcare at a Crossroad.” Nunziata advises hospitals and health systems on strategic implication of healthcare reform. He received a B.A. with honors from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago. He clerked for the Honorable Mary McLaughlin on the U.S. District Court for the eastern District of Pennsylvania.
