Happy Monday, Suzy friends. Hope you had a terrific Mother’s Day weekend. Mother Nature blessed us with some rain which put a damper on our plans. We had hoped to get our veggies set out in the garden, a ritual we traditionally save for Mother’s Day. But Mother Nature knows best, and we got the very kind of rain we needed for slow-soaking of dry grounds. It’ll be back to the planting plan when things dry up a bit. Can’t wait for those delicious fresh veggies.

We’ve rented houseboats and pontoons there for great, good times the grandkids are still begging for again.

Lake Cumberland is a great fishing and boating destination – with more than 60,000 acres of water and 1225 miles of shoreline. The park has 76 rooms, 30 cottages, camping and an indoor pool.

The kids will be out of school soon. Celebrate with a great adventure and a little time away to celebrate their hard work and a successful school year.
