Beginning May 17 at 10 a.m., Lexington Legends fans will be able to bid on four Legends tickets and passes to the Kentucky Ale Taproom at Whitaker Bank Ballpark on charities.milbauctions.com. The auction, which ends at 10 a.m. on May 31, is one of many being held to benefit Minor League Baseball™ Charities throughout this season.
Other auctions will feature items such as ticket packages, game worn jerseys, autographed programs, bats and baseballs, fan experiences like throwing out a first pitch or serving as a bat boy or bat girl for a game and merchandise/fan packs.
Over the past several years, MiLB™ Charities has made donations to help with natural disaster relief efforts in MiLB cities; supported baseball leagues in Durham, N.C., and Cedar Rapids, Iowa; hosted a leadership camp for youth from underserved communities across the country; and contributed to organizations such as The ALS Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics, Ed Randall’s Fans for the Cure, Miracle League, The Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and the Mike Coolbaugh Scholarship Foundation.
