Blue Grass Community Foundation to
award competitive grants to area nonprofits

Blue Grass Community Foundation is pleased to announce that grants will again will be awarded in amounts up to $5,000 and are for 501(c)(3) agencies serving Anderson, Bourbon, Fayette, Franklin, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Montgomery, Scott and/or Woodford Counties.
 

Grants will focus on education, to increase learning opportunities for at-risk children and adults; to promote academic success; early childhood education; family literacy; G.E.D., English as a second language (ESL); and after school enrichment programs.
 

To apply, please email a two page letter (maximum) and IRS Letter of Determination by 4:00 p.m. on August 21, 2012 to Kassie Branham at kbranham@bgcf.org.
 

Letters must include:
 

· Description of your grant request

· Amount requested

· Detailed project budget narrative

· Supporting documentation from any collaborating agencies

· Committed or proposed funders

· Anticipated outcomes of project and measurement
