Girls in fifth grade through high school are invited to the 2017 Kentucky Girls STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) Conference at West Kentucky Community and Technical College November 18.

The fun learning experience, which is free and open to the public, will focus on inspiring the students to pursue STEM careers. The event will be held in WKCTC’s Emerging Technology Center from 9 a.m. to noon.

As students are exploring exciting hands-on activities and demonstrations presented by area STEM professionals, parents can attend a panel discussion to learn more ways to involve their children in STEM opportunities.
