Lighting is one of the most important aspects in your home. When selecting lighting for your kitchen and bathroom, you not only want to make sure the area will be well lit, but you also want to pick something out that is appealing.

Here are three lighting trends we are enjoying:

— Exposed Bulbs- If you’re looking for a sleek, modern look that works in bathroom and kitchens, exposed bulbs are a great option.

Cage, globe, and bell jar are some trendy styles that have exposed bulbs.

— Lantern Style – Lantern-style light fixtures look best in a kitchen since most of them are open without any glass closing them in (see photo). They create a nice, open feel.

— Brass – Brass had a resurgence over the past few years and we’re still seeing it in 2017.

We recommend brass in small, more subtle touches instead of throughout a home.
