It has been a mild winter so far, thankfully! However, with chilly nights and short days, you may be looking for ways to warm up your room.

Here are our three top tips to do so:

— Area Rugs – Depending on your budget and space, you can make almost any size rug work. If you have a king- or queen-sized bed, we suggest putting and 8’x10’ or 9’x12’ area rug right before your night stand, allowing it to extend past the end of the bed.

If you’re looking to save some money, but you’d still like to add an area rug in your bedroom, try a smaller rug; simple put the bottom portion of your bed on the rug.

— Accessories & Artwork – If you’re looking for trendy ways to make your bedroom fun, we suggest adding items to your room that make you happy! These can be anything from knickknacks that are special to you, photos of your favorite people in frames, or a piece of artwork that you couldn’t live without.

— Upholstered Headboards are a sophisticated way to visually and physically add warmth to a bedroom.

Most of the time, upholstered headboards can directly attach onto any headboard.
