American Cancer Society names Erica Kellem Beasley executive director for Kentucky


The American Cancer Society (ACS) has named Erica Kellem Beasley the executive director for Kentucky. She began her duties March 18.

As executive director, her focus is the development and execution of the Kentucky area plan to support the mission of ACS, build a strong area board of directors, and lead the team in Kentucky. Kellem Beasley brings 24 years of experience working in the financial and banking industry with expertise in cultivating meaningful customer relationships.

A native of Louisville, she is a graduate of the Youth Performing Arts School at duPont Manual High School and the University of Louisville, with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Learning. She resides in Eastwood with her husband and two children, ages 24 and 11.

Kellem Beasley has been a longtime ACS champion, having participated in Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events in Louisville in support of family members impacted by cancer.

“Fighting cancer is personal to Erica, and she is highly committed to our mission of saving lives, celebrating lives, and leading the fight for a world without cancer, “ said Wayne White, executive vice president for the ACS North Central Region. “Erica has a true appreciation for the important role our volunteers, supporters, and partners play in our work, and she is eager to engage more Kentuckians from all walks of life in our fundraising, awareness, and patient service programs.”
