Founded in 2009, Barktown Rescue has placed over 3,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens into loving homes. The largest expense is vet care provided to the animals that are rescued. Pets cannot be adopted until they are spayed or neutered, and often additional vet expenses are incurred for sick or injured animals.

As a non-profit organization, monetary donations and fair market value of items donated to Barktown Rescue events or directly to the shelter are tax deductible. For more information about this event, Barktown Rescue, and pets available for adoption, visit www.barktownrescue.org.
