Beaumont Middle School club illustrates STAR power on FCCLA national stage in Atlanta

The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America club from Beaumont Middle School in Lexington earned the following standings in the STAR contests (Students Taking Action with Recognition) in Atlanta this summer:

• Chapter Service Project: Allison Clabes and Caroline Devine;
• Illustrated Talk: Kate Hazelwood and Sydney Montgomery.

• Chapter in Review Display: Logan Justice and Madelyn Justice.

• Food Innovations: Zoe Leindecker;
• Parliamentary Procedure: Natalie Crawford, Rayyan Iqbal, Claire Lee, and Madison Scott;
• Sports Nutrition: Allie Barnes, Ashley Lannum, and Hattie Grace Maloney.

FCCLA is an organization for students taking family and consumer sciences courses. Its members develop leadership through community service and design career projects for competitive events.
