Berea Festival of Learnshops now through July 23 offers visitors the chance grow their creative side

The 7th Annual Berea Festival of Learnshops kicks off this week, running July 7th-23rd. Visitors from across the country have the opportunity to work with renowned artists in varying fields.

Decorate a cake, forge a letter opener, blow glass, make mead, learn to raise chickens, and so much more this summer. With over 150 different workshops to choose from, there is something for everyone to enjoy. It is a perfect opportunity for family bonding, or a getaway with friends.

“The Festival of Learnshops is truly a unique opportunity for visitors and locals alike to work with artists. Not only do they create beautiful pieces of art, they create memories that will last a lifetime,” said Nancy Conley, Program Manager for Berea Tourism. “This event also gives so much back to the community, as visitors patronize local businesses during their stay. It’s just wonderful to see so many people who also love our community coming to visit.”

In addition to the Festival of Learnshops, the Berea Craft Festival and the Levitt AMP Berea Music Series begin on Friday, July 7th.
