Blue Grass Airport announces new United Airlines non-stop service to Newark

United Airlines has launched daily non-stop service between Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport (LEX) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Service to Newark will provide passengers with access to the Big Apple via a short train or taxi ride.

“We are fortunate to add a hub destination that provides our customers with a gateway to New York City and connecting opportunities to many domestic and international destinations,” said Eric Frankl, executive director of Blue Grass Airport. “This flight’s excellent timing with international connections offers central Kentucky travelers convenient access to the global marketplace.”
