Blue Raiders continue month-long run at top of the NAIA women's soccer coaches' poll

The Lindsey Wilson women’s soccer team retained its No. 1 ranking for a fourth-straight NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll as the Blue Raiders received 18 first-place votes and 498 total voting points.
 

Lindsey Wilson (7-0-2) stayed at No.1 in the coaches’ poll by defeating Cumberland (Tenn.) 3-1 on Saturday in Lebanon, Tenn.
 

Joining the Blue Raiders in the top five are No. 2 Northwestern Ohio, which earned 472 points, Benedictine (Kan.) and Keiser (Fla.), which share the No. 3 position with 449 points each, and No. 5 William Carey (Miss.), the recipient of 448 points.
 

The Blue Raiders are joined in the coaches’ poll by fellow Mid-South Conference members Campbellsville (Ky.). The Tigers received 258 points to move up three positions to No. 16. Georgetown (Ky.) earned 69 points to tie at No. 24 with Ashford (Iowa). It is the first time Georgetown has been ranked in the top 25.
 

The Blue Raiders host St. Catharine (Ky.) on Wednesday in Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
