Bluegrass Community and Technical College to offer both eight and 12 week sessions this semester

Prospective students who missed the first fall enrollment start date or who would like to complete a college class in a shorter time may now enroll in eight-week sessions or 12-week sessions at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

The 12-week session begins Sept. 10, and the eight-week session begins Oct. 12.

BCTC offers a wide variety of majors that prepare students for high-wage, high-demand jobs, such as manufacturing, information technology, business, logistics and health care. It is also the best value in education. Here a student can complete her/his first two years of college at half the cost of a four-year institution, then transfer the credits toward a bachelor’s degree.

Numerous scholarships, like the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship which offers opportunities for free college classes for qualified applicants, and financial aid are available at BCTC to keep college costs down and make a better life possible.

Classes are offered online and in person at BCTC’s seven campuses in Lexington, Danville, Georgetown, Lawrenceburg and Winchester.

To begin the process, come by any BCTC campus or visit the admissions page at bluegrass.kctcs.edu. Classes begin Sept. 10.
