The Board of Directors will begin to put a plan in place for the transition.

“Making this announcement now gives us time to undergo a gradual and smooth transition,” said Cathy Jacobs, Hope Center board chair.

“We are so grateful for Cecil’s leadership. All of the milestones we have celebrated in his 24 years of service – the creation and expansion of the men’s and women’s recovery programs, drug- and alcohol-free permanent housing – they all have happened because of his vision and determination,” added Cathy Jacobs. “Hundreds of people have been healed and families have been made whole because of Cecil Dunn.”

“It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve this community through the Hope Center,” Cecil Dunn said. “Second chances are born and nurtured here. Through the grace and generosity of our board, staff and our community, we have grown to meet the needs around us. And those are the same reasons the Hope Center will thrive for many decades to come.”

Cecil Dunn has contributed many years of experience to the Hope Center, and his achievements will not be forgotten. Please join us in wishing him the best in the next steps of his journey.
