Central Kentucky native Mike Inman inducted into Hall of Fame for National Association of Realtors

The Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors has announced that Mike Inman has been inducted into the National Association of Realtors Hall of Fame.

He joins an elite group across the country to earn such an honor as only a fraction of all realtors nationwide receive this honor and recognition.

The National Association of Realtors Hall of Fame recognizes dedicated members who go above and beyond to invest in their profession and protect the private property rights of all Americans. As the voice of real estate in the United States, Realtors like Inman understand the importance of homeownership as a major tenet of the American dream and work to preserve it.

Inman was inducted into the Hall of Fame during the 2020 Realtors Legislative Meetings. His name has now earned a distinguished position on the Hall of Fame wall located on NAR’s Washington, D.C., building rooftop overlooking the United States Capitol.

“Homeownership is vitally important to so many areas of the economy, and no one knows this more than Realtors,” said Inman. “We are in the best position, because of our chosen profession, to protect the interests of homeowners. I believe it with all my heart, and so I invest in Realtor Political Action Committee.”

Inman is an agent with Coldwell Banker McMahan and has been a member of LBAR for more than 13 years. He specializes in residential properties and farms primarily in Mercer, Anderson, Boyle, Franklin, Jessamine and Woodford counties.

In addition to selling real estate, he has been very active at all levels of the Association and has held a number of leadership roles. He currently serves as a director for Kentucky Realtors and is a graduate of the LeadershipKYR program. Inman has been an RPAC major investor for eight years and was the 2017 and 2018 recipient of a Presidential Award at the state level.

He has served on the RPAC Major Investor Council at NAR and as an RPAC Trustee at the state level. Inman is currently serving on the RPAC Participation Council at the national level. In 2019, he became the first Platinum R investor in Kentucky and was named Realtor of the Year for LBAR.

Inman is very active in his community, currently serving as vice-chair for the Harrodsburg, Mercer County Tourism Commission, as a director for the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Pioneer Days Festival Committee. Inman is a deacon at Hopewell Baptist Church and is a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.
