Children’s Alliance partners with Anthem Medicaid to offer social workers free continuing education

In an effort to support Kentucky’s vulnerable children and families, Anthem is partnering with Children’s Alliance to offer its members free continuing education credits (CEUs) to enhance the clinical skills/support that clinicians need and value to provide quality service.

“Due to the generous support of Anthem, we are excited to offer 200 clinicians with free online access to 81 trainings that are approved for CEU credits,” said Michelle M. Sanborn, MSW, president of Children’s Alliance.

The free CEU training opportunity is available to the first 200 clinicians to register. The training license will be valid until July 31.

The process to register is very easy. Clinicians interested in participating in this training initiative, should email socialworkCEU@anthem.com expressing interest in obtaining a license for online CEU training through the Anthem Relias Training Program.

The email should include the following information:

• subject line: “CEU Children’s Alliance training license”

• name of individual

• name of the Children’s Alliance agency you work for, and

• contact information

Upon receipt of the email, Anthem will reply with an email providing a user name and password as well as instructions on how to use the training program.

Approximately 125 organizations make up the organizational members of the Children’s Alliance. More than 9,000 individuals are members of the online Children’s Action Network.
