The 5-foot-11 guard exploded for a career-high 30 points to lead EKU to an 80-75 road win at Austin Peay on Saturday. Green was 5-of-7 from 3-point range in the victory.

He scored 14 straight points during a 3-minute, 22-second flurry in the first half that set the tone for the Colonels. He added five rebounds in that win.

The Detroit native also delivered a big performance during a 69-61 win over Eastern Illinois last Wednesday. He posted nine points, a career-high five steals, three assists and three rebounds.

EKU is now 9-2 overall, 3-1 in the OVC. The Colonels have won four consecutive games.

Green leads all OVC freshmen in assists per game (4.5) and steals per game (2.0), and he ranks second in scoring (11.8 points per game). This is his first OVC Freshman of the Week honor.

EKU returns to action this week by hosting Jacksonville State (Thursday) and Tennessee Tech (Saturday) at McBrayer Arena.
