Hosparus Health seeking volunteers, offering free training sessions on Nov. 14

Hosparus Health needs patient support volunteers in Jefferson, Bullitt, Henry, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties and will offer a free training on Tuesday, Nov. 14 (lunch provided), from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its main Louisville campus, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive.

To pre-register, call 502-814-5436 or email HLvolunteer@hosparus.org by Thursday, Nov. 9.

Hosparus Health volunteers help with patient and family support, hair care, massage, administrative duties, bereavement care, outreach, fundraising and special events.

For 40 years, Hosparus Health, a fully accredited non-profit hospice and palliative care organization, has provided medical care, grief counseling, pain management and much more for people facing serious and life-limiting illnesses in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
