KCTCS to invest $2.7 million to close workforce gaps; BCTC hires Gary Robinson as project coordinator

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is investing $2.7 million during the next three years to close workforce gaps by promoting apprenticeship opportunities.

Bluegrass Community and Technical College has hired Gary Robinson as a full-time project coordinator to oversee the program in Central Kentucky.

Robinson has been an active leader in industry and education for over twenty years. He brings a diverse range of experience including education, training, business operations, management, leadership, engineering, financial management and continuous improvement.

With a proven track record of continuously achieving performance targets and forging solid and mutually rewarding relationships with business partners, Robinson is a great addition to the BCTC Workforce Solutions team.

“I am very happy to join the BCTC Workforce Solutions family,” said Robinson. “It is my intent and passion to develop relationships and programs for the BCTC community that will match workplace skills with the needs of our business community employers.”
