Kentucky Artisan Center offers discount on Black Friday, kicking off holiday shopping season

The Kentucky Artisan Center kicks off the traditional holiday shopping season with a Black Friday Sale, on Friday, Nov. 29, offering a 10% discount off all retail items.

The Center offers unique works by over 850 Kentucky artists, including musicians, authors, and specialty food and beauty product producers.
Visitors that day can enjoy the center’s gallery exhibit, “The Art of the Book: 45 Years of Larkspur Press” with hand-printed broadside poems, letterpress printed and hand-bound books by artist Gray Zeitz and wood engravings by Larkspur Press illustrators.

With so many things to choose from, shoppers can find something for everyone on their holiday list and enjoy a meal in the Artisan Café.

The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is located at 200 Artisan Way, just off Interstate 75 at Berea Exit 77.

It is an agency of Kentucky’s Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet.

The center’s exhibits, shopping and travel information areas are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the cafe is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission is free.
