Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence seeking candidates for chief executive officer

The Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence, a non-profit organization located in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking applications for a new Chief Executive Officer.

The Chief Executive Officer’s primary role is to provide leadership to KCADV staff and implement the organization’s vision and strategies for both the coalition and its 15 regional domestic violence programs.

The Chief Executive Officer works in partnership with the Board of Directors and the Member Program Caucus to set coalition priorities and develop policies and programming that enhance the services offered to survivors of intimate partner violence in Kentucky.

• The CEO guides and supports KCADV’s provision of technical assistance and training to domestic violence advocates and allied professionals across the state.

• The CEO leads state and federal advocacy efforts on behalf of Kentucky’s domestic violence programs and survivors regarding laws and funding that directly impact those survivors and the services available to them.

• The CEO is the motivating force behind coalition leadership and overall administration of KCADV’s services and initiatives, while serving as the primary spokesperson for the coalition.

• The CEO provides direction to the organization on all matters of policy, programming, and administration.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications, beginning in the mid- $80s.
