Kentucky Farm Bureau announces Emerald Sponsorship for 2019 4-H Emerald Gala

Kentucky Farm Bureau is proud to announce its Emerald Sponsorship for the 2019 4-H Emerald Gala. The Emerald Sponsorship is the top commitment available for the gala that showcases 4-H Emerald Award Winners as well as the 4-H program in Kentucky. Funding for the sponsorship is provided by both Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation and Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance.

“4-H is the largest youth organization in the world and we are thrilled to partner with them to impact the future of Kentucky agriculture,” said Mark Haney, Kentucky Farm Bureau President.

“We are pleased to contribute to the mission of Kentucky 4-H which serves over 290,000 Kentucky young people,” added Drew Graham, Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation Executive Vice President.

The Emerald Gala is quickly becoming one of the premier events for recognizing accomplishments by Kentucky’s youth. The Emerald Award, given out at the event, is presented to the top four 4-H students in Kentucky in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

“What I love about the Emerald Gala is that we are able to reach the Kentucky agriculture community along with people that we have not had the opportunity to reach in the past,” said Melissa Miller, Kentucky 4-H Foundation Executive Director.

KFB, which will celebrate its Centennial Year in 2019, has a longstanding commitment to education and leadership. Through programs and donations, KFB continuously works to enhance the quality of life for all. This sponsorship is yet another way they give back.

“At Kentucky Farm Bureau we talk about being big on commitment and it is our honor to make this commitment to Kentucky 4-H,” said John Sparrow, Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Executive Vice President and CEO.

The Emerald Gala will be held on April 27, 2019, at Hermitage Farm. It will be hosted by Steve Wilson and Laura Lee Brown. To buy tickets, visit Kentucky4HFoundation.org.

Kentucky Farm Bureau, with nearly 500,000 member families statewide, is the state’s largest general farm organization.
