Senior Advisor to KyForward

KyForward has until midnight tonight to reach a matching goal provided by NEWSMATCH to encourage reader support of its nonprofit, public service news site.

KyForward has been chosen — for the first time — to join more than 150 nonprofit newsrooms across the country to participate in this largest grassroots fundraising campaign of its kind.

NewsMatch will double individual gifts to the KyForward.com for any amount up to $1000. The campaign is on a tight timeline – contributions must be received by December 31.

Every donation matters.

No corporate checks. Just individuals. Contributions from an individual’s donor-advised fund or trust or managed funds are matchable.

Become a sustaining member at a level that works for you and in the way that works for you. A monthly withdrawal from your checking account or through a charge to your credit card is available.

To donate go to this secure connection:

Or send your check made out to KyForward to 644 Braddock Ct., Edgewood, KY 41017.

Your contributions are tax-deductible.

The campaign is driven by a partnership with the  Institute for Nonprofit News and the News Revenue Hub,  Democracy Fund,  the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the  Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation and the  John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The Facebook Journalism Project also made a $1 million donation to NewsMatch in 2018.

Please share this story with your friends, co-workers and other networks.
