Bill Bryant, WKYT anchor and political editor, will moderate. Candidates will have time for opening and closing remarks and will respond to questions prepared by the sponsoring organizations and solicited from the public prior to the forum. Questions may be submitted by emailing lexingtonlwv@gmail.com.

The forum is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“There is no substitute for seeing the candidates side-by-side and face-to-face as a way to compare their stands and styles of leadership,” said Bryant. “Our forum just a week before the election will give voters a chance to finalize their decisions about who will lead Lexington into the future.”

“We are excited to be partnering with our co-sponsors to bring information to the citizens of Lexington about our 2018 mayoral candidates,” said League president Tammy Fagley. “Part of the mission of the League is to help educate voters about the candidates. We hope all eligible voters will exercise their right to vote in November.”
