Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission now accepting nominations for MLK Leadership Award


In honor of MLK Day, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission will recognize adult and youth leaders in the state who embody Dr. King’s life and work.

This esteemed award will be presented in Frankfort on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017. The recipients will be recognized and presented with a plaque to memorialize this honored event. A reception will follow with family, friends and dignitaries.

If you know someone, regardless of race, creed or color, who believes not only in Dr. King’s dream but has worked to continue it, please take the time to download and complete the short nomination form.
