The MSUCorps AmeriCorps Program and its partners are gearing up for their 10th annual Morehead Build-A-Bed Project to provide beds to children who are living in homes with not enough beds or none at all.
Applications will be accepted from Jan. 2-Feb 14, 2020.
Applications can be found at www.moreheadstate.edu/buildabed. Applications can be submitted online or in paper form.

Each child receives a brand-new bed and mattress along with a bedtime bag containing sheets, a pillow, blanket, stuffed animal, book, alarm clock or nightlight and a hygiene kit.
The beds will be built on April 4 at the Peddler’s Mall in Morehead. Families selected to receive a bed are expected to pick it up on the day of the build.
The project is currently accepting applications from Bath, Bourbon, Bracken, Breathitt, Clark, Fleming, Floyd, Harrison, Johnson, Knott, Lee, Letcher, Lewis, Magoffin, Martin, Mason, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, Nicholas, Pike, Powell, Robertson, Rowan and Wolfe counties.
For donations, checks may be made to Build-A-Bed and sent to MSUCorps, Morehead State University, 201 Education Services Building, Morehead, KY, 40351. Each bed costs approximately $200.
