NBA roundup: Cousins, Hayes shine for Kings

Four former UK players saw action in NBA games Thursday. Check out a roundup of their performances below:


Former UK forward DeMarcus Cousins scored 15 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots for the Sacramento King.


Former UK forward Chuck Hayes scored seven points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out three assists for the Kings.


Former UK center Nazr Mohammed scored two points and grabbed one rebound in five minutes of action for the Oklahoma City Thunder.


Former UK forward Josh Harrellson scored three points on 1-6 shooting in 15 minutes of action for the New York Knicks.


Former UK center Daniel Orton and guard DeAndre Liggins did not dress for the Orlando Magic.


Former UK forward Patrick Patterson did not play as he rehabs from offseason surgery for the Houston Rockets.


Former Morehead center Kenneth Faried did not play due to a coach’s decision for the Denver Nuggets.


Louisville native Nolan Smith did not play due to a coach’s decision for the Portland Trail Blazers.
