NBA roundup: DeMarcus Cousins scores 26


Kentucky continued to show its rising influence in the NBA with 12 locally connected players appearing in a game Wednesday. You can see a roundup of their performances below:

 

Former UK forward DeMarcus Cousins came off the bench to score 26 points on 9-12 shooting and grab three rebounds in 25 minutes of action for the Sacramento Kings.

 

Former UK point guard John Wall scored 14 points on 6-16 shooting, grabbed four rebounds and dished out five assits in 33 minutes of action for the Washington Wizards.

 

Former UK point guard Rajon Rondo scored eight points on 4-8 shooting and dished out 14 assists in 32 minutes of action for the Boston Celtics.

 

Former UK forward Tayshaun Prince scored seven points on 3-11 shooting, grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists in 32 minutes of action for the Detroit Pistons.

 

Former UK point guard Brandon Knight scored four points on 2-9 shooting, grabbed one rebound and posted one assist in 22 minutes of action for the Pistons.

 

Former UK forward Chuck Hayes scored six points on 2-4 shooting and grabbed five rebounds in 22 minutes of action for the Kings.

 

Former Morehead center Kenneth Faried scored seven points on 2-2 shooting, grabbed four rebounds and blocked four shots in just less than 10 minutes of action for the Denver Nuggets.

 

Former UK forward Patrick Patterson scored four points on 2-6 shooting and grabbed three rebounds in 18 minutes of action for the Houston Rockets.

 

Former UK guard Jodie Meeks scored two points on 1-5 shooting and grabbed three rebounds in 23 minutes of action for the Philadelphia 76ers.

 

Lexington native Shelvin Mack scored four points on 2-2 shooting and grabbed one rebound in four minutes of action for the Wizards.

 

Former UK center Josh Harrellson did not score and grabbed one rebound in three minutes of action for the New York Knicks.

 

Former UK center Jamaal Magloire did not score and grabbed three rebounds in 11 minutes of action for the Toronto Raptors.

 

Former UK center Daniel Orton and guard DeAndre Liggins were inactive for the Orlando Magic.

 

Former UK point guard Eric Bledsoe was inactive as he continues to rehab from offseason surgery for the Los Angeles Clippers.
