Olympics roundup: Anthony Davis sees late playing time in U. S. rout of Argentina

Just one Kentucky alum participated in Wednesday’s action at the London Olympics. You can see a brief recap of his performance below:




Former UK basketball player Anthony Davis scored two points in seven minutes of action in Team USA’s 126-97 win versus Argentina. Davis added two rebounds and one blocked shot. Team USA led Argentina by one at half, but outscored 66-38 in the second half. The Americans finished pool play with an undefeated record and will return to action Wednesday in the quarterfinal round against Australia at 5:15 p.m.
