Former UofL women’s basketball player Angel McCoughtry scored four points in Team USA’s semifinal-round 86-73 win versus Australia. McCoughtry added two assists and one steal, but the four points represented her lowest scoring total of the Olympics.

Team USA will play the winner of the Russia-France semifinal game on Saturday for the gold medal at 4 p.m. EST.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Danny Caluag finished eighth in his heat with a score of 29 in the quarterfinal round of the men’s BMX competition. Caluag did not qualify for the semifinals. This was his only event in the London games.
