Trio of Morehead State baseball players selected to summer league All-Star teams

A trio of Morehead State baseball players have been selected to their respective league’s All-Star teams.
 

Junior right-handed pitcher Tyler Keele and sophomore righty Luke Humphreys, who both play for the Florence RedWolves of South Carolina, were selected to the Coastal Plain League West Division All-Star Team. The game will take place on Monday, July 13 in Florence, South Carolina.
 

Junior right-hander Matt Anderson, who plays for the West Virginia Miners of Beckley, West Virginia, was selected to the Prospect League East Division All-Star Team. The game will be played on Wednesday, July 8 in Richmond, Indiana.
 

Keele leads the CPL with five saves. In eight games for the RedWolves, he sports a 1.74 ERA with 23 strikeouts in only 10 innings. Humphreys is 2-1 with a 1.61 ERA in 22 innings. He has 28 strikeouts, and opponents have managed to hit only .101 off him in the first half of the campaign.
 

Anderson is 4-0 with a 1.05 ERA and a league-best 42 strikeouts in 34 innings for the Miners.
