Governor Beshear reports 530 new cases, 13 deaths; says vaccinations open for 1C on March 1

By Tom Latek Kentucky Today Kentucky’s COVID-19 numbers continued to move in the right direction and it was announced that those in priority group 1C will be able to start getting vaccinated in March. 
“We’re reporting just 530 new cases of COVID-19,” Gov. Andy Beshear said during a Monday press briefing. “That is the lowest number since October 5.”

Gov. Andy Beshear on Thursday reported 745 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths, raising the state’s totals to 64,158 cases and 1,137 deaths. Of the new cases, 107 were children 18 and under, including 20 ages 5 and under. The youngest is just 4 days old.
