Lexington to host Reforest the Bluegrass at Home event; begins this Friday, runs through end of month

For 20 years, hundreds of people came together each spring to plant tree seedlings by taking part in Reforest the Bluegrass. This year, the City of Lexington is working with community partners to provide trees people can plant at home. Lexington to host Paper Shred, food drive on Nov. 2; up to five boxes/bags of material shredded for free

Lexington will host its Paper Shred on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike. Fayette County residents may bring up to five boxes or bags of material to be shredded free of cost.
