Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty And The Beast, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Little Shop Of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once On This Island) have breathed fantastic new life into Charles Dicken’s classic tale, A Christmas Carol. The REP presents this spectacular adaptation of Dickens’s most well known story that enjoyed a decade long run at Madison Square Garden. Kentucky Ballet Theatre brings the classic tradition of the holiday tale, The Nutcracker, to life on the historic Opera House stage for two weekends this holiday season. The 12 professional company dancers will perform with more than 80 of the KBT Academy students in this family-friendly performance that instills holiday cheer in us all.
