Vietnam veteran Allari featured speaker at Quarterly Lecture series at Kentucky Aviation Museum

Major Ron Allari, U.S. Army retired, will be the featured speaker at the Quarterly Lecture Series on Saturday July 16 at the Aviation Museum of Kentucky, Blue Grass Airport, Lexington.

The event is free and open to the public, and begins at 7 p.m.

Allari had a 21-year military career. Active duty assignments included special operations, engineering and Army aviation. Some of his service was Vietnam combat duty.

As a civilian, Allari has been active in veteran’s services in northern Kentucky and is director of alumni operations for the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame. He was an inductee into the Hall of Fame in 2014.

The Quarterly Lecture Series, sponsored by the aviation museum, has brought in authors, veterans, and a range of speakers discussing aviation and historical topics.

The Aviation Museum of Kentucky is located at 4029 Airport Road, adjacent to Blue Grass Airport in Lexington. It is the official aviation museum of the Commonwealth as well as home to the Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame, and operates as a non-profit corporation.
